Red Meat Forum Subscription – Terms and Conditions

1. Who we are

The Red Meat Forum is an initiative of Vrystaat Landbou / Free State Agriculture VAT number 4110112036. Physical address: 4 Nobel Street, Brandwag, Bloemfontein. Email: cynthia@vslandbou.co.za. Telephone: 051 444 4609.

2. What these terms cover

These terms apply when you subscribe to the Red Meat Forum through www.vrystaatlandbou.co.za. By completing a subscription you confirm that you have read and accept them.

3. What you receive

Your subscription gives you:

• access to the Red Meat Forum [and its meetings / communication channels];
• regular red meat industry information and updates from Free State Agriculture;
• a direct channel to raise problems and bottlenecks in red meat production, which Free State Agriculture takes up on the relevant platforms;

4. Who may subscribe

[Any person over 18 / primary red meat producers]. You must give accurate details, including your name, email address, cell number and province.

5. Price and payment

The subscription costs R100 per month or R1 200 per year, in South African rand, including VAT. Payments are processed securely by Payfast. Your card details are entered on Payfast’s secure payment page and are never stored on our website.

6. Automatic renewal

Your subscription renews automatically every month or every year, depending on the option you chose, and the same amount is charged to your card on each renewal date until you cancel. If a payment fails, Payfast may retry it. If payment still cannot be collected, your subscription may be put on hold or cancelled.

7. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time yourself under My Account on our website, or by emailing info@vslandbou.co.za. No further payments are taken after you cancel, and your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. Refunds are covered in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

8. Changes to the price or these terms

We will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before any price change takes effect on your subscription. You may cancel before the new price applies.

9. Ending a subscription from our side

We may cancel a subscription if these terms are breached or the Forum is discontinued. If we end it for reasons other than a breach, we will refund the unused part of any annual subscription.

10. Your personal information

We process your personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and our Privacy Policy.

11. Limitation of liability

Forum information is provided in good faith for general information. To the extent the law allows, Free State Agriculture is not liable for decisions you make based on it.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act and the Consumer Protection Act, where they apply.
